What is Spinning?
Spinning is a high-powered aerobic exercise program that utilizes a specially designed stationary bicycle and a series of cycling movements that provide you with both a physical and mental workout. What sets spinning apart from the usual boredom of stationary cycling is the visual imagery provided by our instructors. Energetic music accompanies your workout to get you pedaling!

What should I bring?
· Cycling/Spinning shoes if you have them or running shoes

Will indoor cycling help me lose weight?
Absolutely, it will help you lose those extra pounds and lower your
body fat if done regularly along with a balanced diet. One can burn as
much as 700 calories in one single class however the average is 500.
Do I have to be in great shape?
Anyone can benefit from spinning. This exercise is suited to all fitness levels. The beauty of spinning it that the student is able to control the intensity of their workout. Spinning bikes have a variable resistance that requires adjustments by the student following their instructor’s cues. You can control the intensity of your workout by how much resistance you apply to your bike. As your fitness level increases you can tailour your workout to match your skill level.
I have never taken a spinning class before? What should I expect?
Please inform your instructor that this is your first training session.
Your instructor will help you to adjust your bike to fit your leg and
torso length, demonstrate proper foot position and basic pedaling technique.
We do offer beginner/entry level classes that will help to orientate
you to Spinning and our Studio. Please check our schedule for Beginner
Class times.
Will spinning give me big thighs?
No. The size of your quadriceps depends a lot more on your genetics than
on your training regimen. With spinning you will achieve toning of
your legs and buttocks.
